Orkney Springs

Bryce Resort is the recreational center of the community. An 18-hole, professionally designed golf course, a club house restaurant and bar (The Lodge - call Bryce for hours); plus skiing, tennis, swimming and more.

Creekside Realty. The Basye market in real estate was sleepy for some years, but is very lively at the moment. 

Trish Snyder is a well-regarded broker-agent at Coldwell Banker Four Seasons Realty in Macanie, VA. 

The Meems Bottom Covered Bridge. A bit of a historical illusion, this bridge has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. It spans the N. Fork of the Shenandoah, near the Meems Bottom Vortex and the former home of either the Shendo (Senedo) or the Shawnee tribe -- or possibly both in succession.
